The new year is fast approaching and that only means one thing– Pantone released its new color of the year. Drum roll please….. presenting Marsala! We’ve had a great run with orchid in 2014 but the new year is all about deep reds and tomato hues. I am truly in awe with the edginess designers chose this year. From lipsticks to ankle boots to pea coats to blouses, we’ve got lots of room to make grand statements with little effort.

  2. Yes, it definitely has a throwback vibe to it. I personally love mixing old school style with newer trends. If you’re not crazy about putting marsala in your wardrobe, you can try a nail or lipstick color first.
