A heart to a breathing body is a gold necklace to my soul. It may sound a little dramatic but my love for jewelry is pretty intense. Believe me, my family calls me trinket. There’s just something sensational about personalizing outfits with unique jewels. From retro to minimalistic to modern to vintage, the accessories people choose truly define their personalities. It has so much to express and the people who wear them are all carrying a fascinating message. Needless to say, I love staying up on the latest trends and how to wear them.

I’ve already shared Chokers Big Come Back! and how designers have put a modern twist on them. But let me stress how many cool ways to wear them! Chokers have become quite an obsession and are pretty popular. Spring is all about the Midas Touch, jump out of your comfort zone and wear them thick with solid gold, lined with black, or gold chokers with a dainty ruby in the middle for a pop of color.

In high school I hated geometry but when you’re talking jewelry I’m all in! Geometric shaped earrings and necklaces are my go to whenever I want to make a statement. It’s fun to pair circles with triangles and origami inspired jewels. Whether they are bold or subtle, they have a tendency of attracting attention with very little ease. I’m particularly excited about this jewelry trend. This is season is about embracing color and wearing pieces that look like you snagged your Grandma’s precious stones. If taking from your Grandma’s jewelry box is out of the question then take a trip to your nearest thrift store. Dangling earrings, necklaces, and bracelets with hints of vibrant color are very in! 

Askew Crew 

Last but not least, a funky trend that has made the surface are askew pieces. This category gives you lots of wiggle room to play up on originality. Fashionable women are wearing likely pieces with different shapes and mismatched jewels in size and color. If you aren’t the adventurous type this trend may sound like a gruesome dare but after you see these looks you may have a change in perspective. Besides, its super convenient for when you lose the actual matching pieces!
